With respect and dedication to the long-standing family tradition, the new generation Polyzois continues the cultivation of olive and the production of excellent olive oil at the place of origin.
On the Cliffs of Messinia. Where this blessed tree dominated from the old valley and the surrounding hills, and whose care was the main occupation of the locals.

Of the local legends, it was named “1000 Horia” olive oil. From the innumerable fires that the shepherds of the area, who spent their flocks in the valley, turned into his huts.

Today, the only thing that has changed is the new concept of product production and modern production methods. In our mill we collect only selected olives of the famous Koroneiki variety and in the modern packing and standardization unit we follow the strictest procedures by applying certified quality system ELOT EN ISO 9001: 2000.

Our aim is and will always be the comparative quality. With the well-groomed cultivation, the selection of olive fruits, the pressing of them exclusively with mechanical methods and the high specification packaging, we offer olive oil “1000 Horia” with pride

In 2008 our company won the Second Prize for tasting and the intense aroma of olive oil in Athens, the following year in the same competition won respectively the Third Prize.

For nearly a decade the company “Sarandos A. Polyzois ” deals with olive oil standardization. Our extra virgin olive oil “1000 Horia” already exported to England, Canada, Austria and Germany, and will soon be available in the markets of China and Australia.
